Mr. Dadzie has varied experience in contract and procurement management with significant experience in cost and budget management of development projects in the United Kingdom and Ghana. Throughout the years, he has gained practical management skills and sound understanding of different forms of contracts. He previously served as a managing quantity surveyor for Balfour Beatty Construction, London, England, where he led and managed the project cost management team.
Mr. Dadzie’s duties and responsibilities included procurement and financial management of contracts, assessment and evaluation of tenders, negotiating contracts and quotations, preparation of budgets and profiling spends, setting of budget control parameters and monitoring expenditure, cashflow forecasting, overseeing valuation of works and application for payment, assessing and evaluating scope changes, interfacing with clients and supply chain partners on commercial issues and resolving them, management of risk register and monthly reporting on risks and opportunities, management of project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly reporting on performance including preparation of monthly financial reports on budget management, and project progress reviews.
He also implemented project cost controls; managed claims and prepares and manages final accounts of works and supplies. Currently, Mr. Dadzie is the Commercial Manager with Amalgamated Capital Ltd, where he is responsible for managing feasibility studies and analyzing the viability of development projects, commercial proposals on real estate development, tender preparations, budget preparations for projects, negotiating real estate opportunities, managing procurement of works and general goods and services.
He holds a RICS Postgraduate Diploma in Property Investment from the College of Estate Management, Reading, United Kingdom. He also possesses a MSc. Real Estate Management from Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden and a BSc. (Hons) Building Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. John possess strong analytical, interpretative and effective negotiation skills with good communication and writing skills. He is a team player with multicultural and interpersonal relationships skills. John is a highly committed, motivated, ambitious and adaptable person; always keen to use acquired knowledge and skills to take early responsibility in making productive contributions to organizational aims and objectives.
Mr. Dadzie is full of drive and personal initiative, trustworthy and capable of working professionally to meet deadlines. He maintains a positive attitude to change and strives for improvement by adopting alternative value adding approach to ensure project delivery within budget and on time.
